Marv (Dad) is heading to Richfield, Utah for the funeral of his good friend Walter Bentley Jr. who passed away 25 Aug 2003 in Provo.

Walter Darling Bentley Jr., 74, Richfield, passed away Aug. 25, 2003, in Provo. He was born May 5, 1929, in Quanah, Texas, to Walter Darling and Blanche Collier Bentley. He married Anne Pugh in 1948; they were later divorced. He married Judy Adams May 7, 1976, in Covina, Calif. The marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS temple.
Walt was greatly loved by his family and many friends. He provided years of service in several church positions and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, Richfield; children, Dana (Susan) Bentley, Millville; Vic (Monika) Bentley, Austin, Texas; Wendy (Brett) Gorder, Preston, Idaho; Carolann Bentley, Monroe; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Glen) Durham, Iowa Park, Texas, and Dolly Daugherty, Quanah, Texas.
He was preceded in death by parents; six sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m., in the Richfield LDS 1st ward chapel, 985 South 400 West, where friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
