This photo has handwriting on the back… “Robert Bodily Sr. and Joseph Bodily”… this appears to be is incorrect, examination by relatives (our cousin Linda and Jim Nielson) on the private MyFamily Bodily website correctly identifies this photo as Levi Roberts with possibly a grandson.
Here’s the detective work:

Interesting photo, which Joseph is this?????? Robert Sr died in 1892 and died at age 77. In this photo he looks gray and over 60 years old. His son Joseph was born in 1853 and would be much older in comparison with how old his dad looks. His son Joseph had a son Joseph born 1881 which would be closer to a age match in this photo. OR if its Robert Jr’s son Joseph Henry born in 1876 it is also a possibility. Not to sure I should have started this conversation!!!! But it sure looks more like a grandson than his son to me. Does anyone have a very young picture of either grandson Joseph? If we knew when the photo was taken we would know which grandson it is.

I’d guess this is Levi ROBERTS with one of his grandsons–maybe Joseph Henry about 1877.
I have two strangely different birth dates in my records: Birth: 10 May 1810
Christening: 26 Feb 1815, Apperly, Glostershire, England
Death: 22 January 1894 Kaysville, Utah
In the 1880 US census, he is a farmer age 70 years living with Harriet A. age 60. It also says they are both feeble, he having a weak back. Does anyone have anything definitive about his age at the time he passed away from “age”?
Also, I have that his middle name starts with letter E–anything on a name?

The winner is Linda.
Your right this is Levi Roberts. The dates on the family tree agree. In the church computer files there are many duplicates and differences. Who has a birth and death record they would share with us? I don’t find a middle name? Death in 1894 would make him 84 at death. 14 more years with a bad back.

It’ll take an eternity to get acquinted with 49 generations of ancestors! I think like Luann; I can hardly wait to embrace these gentlemen. They appear here stern but, I know they’ll melt seeing their Grandaughters–any of us!
Grandsons might undergo more scrutiny. = )
